The Curfew Tower, or Fire Bell Gate, seen end-on down the churchyard path from an open iron gate set in a flint and rubble wall. The stone gatehouse rises to an embattled parapet with a stair turret at one corner, a tall traceried window above a pointed archway through its base, and headstones stand on the grass between the path and the tower under bare winter trees.
