The Chapman Plaza block seen from the far side of West 6th Street, its corner pavilion carrying dense cast ornament, arched windows and a tiled roof above a long ground-floor arcade of shopfronts running west down the street. Cars stand at the kerb and at the crosswalk, a Kenmore Avenue street blade hangs from the signal pole, and retail-for-lease boards and small tenant signs are fixed along the arcade piers.
