The roadway runs away between rows of teal-painted steel columns that carry the elevated railway overhead on riveted plate girders and latticed cross-bracing, with green traffic signals hung from brackets beneath the deck. Orange-and-white barrels and barricades line both curbs and a white contractor's trailer sits at the left curb.
