Ridgewood Savings Bank at Forest Avenue
A grey limestone banking hall wraps a street corner, with RIDGEWOOD SAVINGS BANK carved into the frieze along both fronts and the dates 1921-1929 cut above the angled corner bay. A clock face sits in the tall arched window over a pedimented doorway with pale bronze doors, round-arched windows filled with iron-framed glass run along the flank, and a stone balustrade tops the roofline. Green signs on the corner pole read Forest and George St, and a few people are walking on the sidewalk.
