57 Great Jones Street
Historic site · NoHo, New York
A former Romanesque Revival stable that was Paul Kelly's Five Points Gang headquarters in 1905, was bought by Andy Warhol's company in 1970, and became Jean-Michel Basquiat's home and studio from August 1983 until his death there in 1988. The block was co-named Jean-Michel Basquiat Way in October 2025, and the building now operates as Atelier Jolie, a creative space with a gallery and cafe open to the public.
