Ranked #3 on Golf Digest's Best in State 2025-'26 list for Michigan, labelled "Public" — the highest-ranked course on the list carrying that label, above #1 Crystal Downs Country Club and #2 Oakland Hills Country Club: South, both Private. Also 100 Greatest Public #16 and Second 100 Greatest #102 in Golf Digest's own record (ngfCourseId 18620). Credited to "Course Designer Warren Henderson" by the club and to "Warren Henderson/Rick Smith" by Golf Digest. Construction began in 1997 and was completed in 1999; the clubhouse opened July 4th and the course opened to limited play on Labor Day. Daily-fee, no membership; the club's stated 2026 operating season is April 1 – November 30.
