History
The Grade II* listing was made on 13 February 1970 and amended on 13 April 2010 as list entry 1184293. The building was Battersea Town Hall before it became a performance venue. In March 2015 the Grand Hall was severely damaged by fire during a renovation programme; roughly 70 per cent of the building, including the 200-capacity Council Chamber, survived and stayed open. The operator states it is 'just 7 minutes walk from Clapham Junction station', where Southern, South Western Railway and the Overground Mildmay and Windrush lines call.
