Third on Golf Digest's 2025-'26 ranking of the best golf courses in Delaware and the only one of that ranking's five entries labelled "Public," rated 3.9 out of 5 by five panelists, with Holes 18, Length 6983 and Slope 135 on the magazine's own profile. The operator calls it "one of the few that is exclusively public" and heads a section of its course page "We Just Look Private." Woodside plays holes 1 through 9 and Waterside holes 10 through 18, over five sets of tees from 3539 to 6983 yards. The operator publishes no green fee — a "Dynamic Pricing" paragraph with no date stands in place of a rate card, and its Club Prophet booking engine returned a Cloudflare challenge to four independent clients. Its only dated operational statement is "2026 Aeration Dates: March 9th-11th / August 24-26th / November 17th-20th." Two sources disagree about the architect: Golf Digest names Brian T. Ault, ASGCA, while the operator's own 2004 archived page names Bill Love ASGCA of Ault, Clark and Associates with final design by Larry Dewitt and Rob Tunnell. No opening year is published by anyone.
