Canaan Union Station and Railroad Museum
Historic site · North Canaan, Connecticut
An 1872 Gothic Revival depot where the Housatonic and Connecticut Western railroads once crossed at an 85-degree angle; sold in April 2026 to a Housatonic Railroad affiliate returning it to active use. The Railroad Museum inside stays open to the public Saturdays, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., and the station hosts the annual Canaan Railroad Days festival each August.
