A Gothic Revival townhouse from around 1849 where jazz saxophonist Charlie Parker lived from 1950 to 1954; listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994 and designated a New York City Landmark in 1999. Avenue B between E 9th and E 10th Streets is co-named "Charlie Parker Place." It's a private residence, viewable from the street only.
