History

Per Wikipedia's "Cutler Memorial Library" article, the small Beaux Arts stone structure at 117 Academy Street (corner of High Street), built 1901-03, was individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places on November 2, 1973. Its designation as a contributing property of the Farmington Historic District came 22 years later, on January 20, 1995 — a separate, later event. It houses Farmington's public library and was "dedicated to the memory of Nathan Cutler."
