Fort Kent Outdoor Center

The Fort Kent Outdoor Center, per New England Ski History, was established near Lonesome Pine Trails in 1999 with funding from the Libra Foundation. Per the center's own website, its trail and disc-golf course climbs "from the lodge into the Lonesome Pine Trails," and it describes offering the Jalbert Biathlon Program for youth development, a post-graduate biathlon training program, and a Jalbert Biathlon Residence to house athletes in training. Per Wikipedia's "Fort Kent, Maine" article, "The Fort Kent Outdoor Center (previously known as 10th Mountain) has hosted a multitude of World Cup biathlon events, including the largest events in 2004 and 2011."
