Gardner Lake State Park

A newly renovated boat launch with generous parking, a swimming beach and picnic areas on a 528-acre lake shared with Bozrah and Montville. The only way to reach Minnie Island State Park, Connecticut's smallest at 0.88 acres. Fishing for bass, crappie, sunfish, walleye and catfish; boat speeds limited to 6 mph from sunset to 8 a.m. Open daily 8 a.m. to sunset, free.
