Governor Jonathan Trumbull House

Built in 1735 and designated a National Historic Landmark in 1965, the home of Jonathan Trumbull has been run as a museum by the Connecticut DAR since 1934. The adjacent 1730 Wadsworth Stable is tied to Commissary General Jeremiah Wadsworth's work supplying Washington's army. Open the second Saturday of each month, noon-4 p.m., through November; free.
