Hawksmoor Seven Dials

The Seven Dials steak restaurant occupies the old Watney-Combe brewery at 11 Langley Street in Covent Garden. Its first owner, Alderman Combe, hosted an annual steak supper there, and a newspaper report of 1807 has the company leaving "highly gratified with their beef-steaks", according to the restaurant's own history of the building.
