Hawthorne Court Apartments

A designated New York City landmark apartment complex, addressed by the Landmarks Preservation Commission as 215-37 to 215-43 43rd Avenue and 42-22 to 42-38 216th Street. Benjamin Braunstein designed it; its brickwork is laid in monk bond and its roofs are jerkinheads.
History
The complex took a Queens Chamber of Commerce award in 1931.
