High School of Commerce

The former school building on the west side of Van Ness Avenue. It is San Francisco Landmark No. 140, designated in 1981, and the Article 10 register gives its address as 135 Van Ness Avenue and 170-135 Fell Street.
History
Commerce High School closed in 1952. Its auditorium, at 275 Hayes Street on the same parcel, opened in 1926 and now runs as the Sydney Goldstein Theater.
