History
The city's Civic Art Collection catalogues two sculptures in the park. The Fountain of the Tortoises, by Taddeo, is a marble and bronze work of 1900, accession 1954.18, credited as the gift of Mrs William H. Crocker and standing in the centre of the park. Dancing Sprites, by Henri Leon Greber, is a bronze of about 1942, 45 inches high and 4 feet in diameter, accession 1942.1, credited as the gift of Mrs James L. Flood. Recreation and Parks gives the park a perimeter of 953.18 feet and an area of 56,460.97 square feet.
