Kent Falls State Park

A series of cascades descending 250 feet toward the Housatonic, with a roughly 70-foot main falls, a covered bridge, and the 'Viewpoints' Art Trail reproducing 19th-century landscape paintings. Open daily, 8 a.m. to sunset; free for Connecticut-registered vehicles, $10-15 for out-of-state.
