La Delivrance stands on public land at Henly's Corner, the junction of Regent's Park Road and Finchley Road, Finchley, N3 3JH. It is a 4.9 m bronze, Grade II* listed as NHLE 1286880, and it is visible at all times.
History
The work is a bronze of 1914 by the French sculptor Emile Oscar Guillaume, made to mark the First Battle of the Marne. The example at Henly's Corner was set up on 20 October 1927, and another example has stood in Nantes since the same year. It was listed at Grade II* on 7 April 1983 as NHLE 1286880 and the entry was amended on 18 February 2016. OpenStreetMap records the work with the sculptor's name and the 1927 date.
