Middle Haddam Historic District

A 110-acre riverfront district of 58 primary buildings, most predating 1835, in Federal, Colonial and Mid-19th Century Revival styles dating from 1732 onward. It preserves the streetscape of a port that built ocean-going vessels for the West Indies trade from about 1730 to 1880. Added to the National Register on February 3, 1984. A public streetscape, walkable at any time.
