Northala Fields

Park · Northolt, England

Northala Fields is on Kensington Road, Northolt, UB5 6UR. It opened in 2008 as part of the Northolt and Greenford Countryside Park, and its four conical hills were built from rubble taken from the original Wembley Stadium, which closed in 2000 and was demolished in 2003. It holds fishing lakes, playing fields, a children's play area and a cafe, and backs onto Rectory Park beside the A40 Western Avenue. No source states its opening hours, so none are given here.

History

The name comes from Northala, the form in which the manor of Northolt was written into Domesday Book in 1086. The park carries no entry of any kind on the National Heritage List for England.
