Paako Ridge Golf Club

A 27-hole public, daily-fee course designed by Ken Dye, opened 2000, in unincorporated Bernalillo County (Paa-Ko CDP), with a Sandia Park mailing address. Second on Golf Digest's 2025-'26 Best in State New Mexico ranking, labelled "Public," behind only the private Club At Las Campanas: Sunset — the highest-ranked public course in the state. Golf Digest ranked it first in New Mexico in the edition before 2023-'24 and has ranked it second every edition since; the ranking covers a specific eighteen, listed as "Paako Ridge (1st & 2nd 9s)," not the full 27-hole property. Also 56th on Golf Digest's 100 Greatest Public Golf Courses (2025-'26). No membership is required to play. Online tee times open a 30-day advance booking window; further-ahead bookings go through a club-assisted request. For the 2026 season the club is open 29 April through 18 October 2026, closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Not on tribal land. Has hosted the U.S. Senior Challenge.
