A 966-seat theatre in the Palace of Fine Arts block, occupying part of the exhibit hall behind the colonnade rather than the rotunda itself. No source states its programme or its opening hours, so neither is given here.
History
In 1970 the building also became the home of the 966-seat Palace of Fine Arts Theatre. The same exhibit hall had become home to the Exploratorium in 1969; that museum closed there in January 2013 before moving to the Embarcadero.
