Pebble Beach Golf Links
Golf course · Pebble Beach, California
#2 on Golf Digest's California Best in State 2025-'26 ranking, labelled "Public," one position behind #1 Cypress Point Club ("Private") — the only position skipped. Separately ranked No. 1 on Golf Digest's America's 100 Greatest Public Courses (published May 27, 2025). Designed by Jack Neville and Douglas Grant, opened February 22, 1919, at 1700 17-Mile Drive in Pebble Beach, Monterey County. Open to the public, but tee times are subject to a hotel stay requirement: resort guests can reserve up to 18 months ahead, subject to a minimum stay the resort does not publish as a fixed figure; non-guests can reserve only 24 hours ahead. Has hosted the U.S. Open six times (1972, 1982, 1992, 2000, 2010, 2019), the PGA Championship (1977), the U.S. Amateur, the U.S. Women's Amateur, the U.S. Women's Open (2023), and the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am every year since 1947; scheduled to host the U.S. Open again in 2027.
