Peterson Park

Over 65 acres of open space and forest, and the starting point of the 35-mile Mattatuck Trail, which runs to meet the Appalachian Trail. Basketball, tennis and volleyball courts, a skate park, paved walking trails, two playgrounds installed in 2022, and a picnic grove with two pavilions. Open sunrise to sunset.
