Phelps-Hatheway House & Garden
Historic site · Suffield, Connecticut
Built in 1761 by Shem Burbank and expanded in 1794 by Oliver Phelps with a wing hung in imported Parisian Reveillon wallpaper still under conservation. The Colonial Revival garden was installed in 1964; Connecticut Landmarks has held the property since 1956. 2026 season: second Sunday of each month, June-October, 1-4 p.m. with hourly tours, last tour 3 p.m. Admission $18 adult, $15 senior/student/teacher, $8 child 6-18.
