The Pump House Gallery is a four-storey Victorian tower on the north side of the boating lake in Battersea Park, SW11 4NJ, listed Grade II as 'PUMP HOUSE TO NORTH OF LAKE AT BATTERSEA PARK', NHLE 1225940. It is owned by the London Borough of Wandsworth and programmed as a free contemporary art gallery. No source states its opening hours, so none are given here.
History
The tower was built to pump water for the boating lake beside it, and it was listed Grade II on 14 November 1988 as NHLE 1225940. The park around it is a Grade II* registered park and garden, NHLE 1000283. Battersea Park station, on Southern, and Queenstown Road (Battersea), on South Western Railway, are both under a kilometre away.
