A private house at 115-24 Grosvenor Road, designated a New York City individual landmark on May 17, 2005 in Landmarks Preservation Commission report LP-2175 and listed by the National Register of Historic Places as a National Historic Landmark.

History

Ralph Bunche served as Under Secretary-General from 1954 until his resignation due to ill health in 1971, and died later that same year. The designation report's biography section records that he turned down an offer from Harry Truman in 1953 to be Assistant Secretary of State.
