Seaview — Bay Course
Golf course · Galloway, New Jersey
New Jersey's fallback anchor in this set, chosen on competitive record because every one of the 25 entries on Golf Digest's 2025-'26 New Jersey ranking carries the label "Private." Opened in 1914 on the shore of Reeds Bay at Seaview Hotel & Golf Club: laid out by Hugh Wilson in 1914, finished by Donald Ross in 1915, and restored by Robert Cupp, Jr. from 1997 in what the tournament rights-holder calls "a comprehensive $1 million restoration." Host of the ShopRite LPGA powered by Wakefern — 54 holes of stroke play for a $2 million purse, at Seaview since 1998 though not held from 2007 to 2009 — and part of the 1942 PGA Championship, won by Sam Snead for his first major. Publicly accessible: Troon classifies the property "Course type: Daily fee/Resort" and its public tee sheet carries no membership gate. No green fee is publishable; the operator states that its prices "fluctuate as time sell or get cancelled."
