James R. Browning United States Court of Appeals Building

The James R. Browning United States Court of Appeals Building stands at 95 Seventh Street, on the northeast corner of Seventh and Mission Streets. James Knox Taylor, Supervising Architect of the Treasury, designed it, and it was built between 1897 and 1905. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1971, reference number 71000188, and designated a National Historic Landmark. It houses the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
