Southall Manor House stands on The Green, UB2 4BJ, a timber-framed building on a high street otherwise rebuilt. It is in use as serviced offices, and the grounds around it are open as Manor House Gardens. It is listed Grade II* as NHLE 1079419.
History
The Grade II listing, NHLE 1079419, was first made on 8 November 1949. The building dates back to at least 1587 and much of its original fabric survives. It is one of 17 Grade II listed-building entries inside the borough boundary. The former Norwood Free School at Norwood Green, about 1.3 km south-east, is the borough's other Grade II* secular survival of this type: NHLE 1079381, listed on 29 September 1976.
