Seventh on Golf Digest's 2025-'26 Best in State ranking for Iowa and the only one of the list's eight entries Golf Digest's own list labels "Public"; the other seven are "Private." Designed by Rick Jacobson; founder Randy Winegard acquired the property in 1991. From the Gold tees it plays 7,550 yards at a 74.8 rating and 134 slope. Golf Digest's own ranking history records it as "Ranked second, 2015-'16" and "Ranked seventh, 2017-'18, 2025-'26"; the club's own site repeats the second-place figure without a date, as though current. A daily-fee course with no membership requirement: starting times may be reserved up to 14 days in advance. Closes for a winter season with no published dates.
