Roughly 586 protected acres, with the 28-acre Talmadge Tract and 138-acre Royal Knowlton Preserve forming a hiking core connected to the Blue-Blazed Nipmuck Trail. Combined circuits run up to about 2.2 miles, passing hemlock groves, ravine views above the Fenton River, and a glacial erratic.
