The Barnes Museum

An 1836 Greek Revival homestead built for Amon and Sylvia Bradley, in the family for 137 years until Bradley Barnes bequeathed it and all its contents to the Town of Southington in 1973 — original interiors, not reconstructed. Open Wed/Thu/Fri 1-5 p.m., plus by appointment and select Saturdays. Admission $10 general, $8 seniors, $5 students, free for museum members and children under 5. Phone (860) 628-5426.
