Fifth on Golf Digest's 2025-'26 Best in State Montana ranking and the highest-ranked course labelled "Public" — ranks one through four are all "Private." Also #57 in Golf Digest's America's 100 Greatest Public Golf Courses (2025-'26). Designed by Nick Faldo, opened in 2009, playing from 5,431 to 7,207 yards at par 72 on roughly 550 acres. The operator, Escalante Golf, LLC, opens the course to non-member and non-resort-guest play after 12:00 PM in the 2026 season; no dated green fee is published. Dogs are not permitted on the course.
