Old Brooklyn Municipal Courthouse at Liberty and Pennsylvania Avenues

Old Brooklyn Municipal Courthouse at Liberty and Pennsylvania Avenues

A pale brick and limestone corner building with a colonnade running along its Liberty Avenue side and a stone balustrade at the roofline. MUNICIPAL COURT is carved into the frieze above the columns, and lettering on the corner pier reads Arnold & Marie Schwartz Community Center. At the sidewalk a subway stair with green lamp globes is signed for Liberty Avenue station, A and C. Cars are parked along the kerb at right under a clear sky.
