Alta Plaza Park

A terraced park of 12.94 acres, or 563,451 square feet, taking up four blocks: Jackson to the north, Clay to the south, Steiner to the east and Scott to the west, with the plaza cutting off the east-west continuation of Washington Street and the north-south continuation of Pierce Street. Three hard-surface tennis courts, a small playground at the centre, a large grass park on the northern half and terraced lawns on the southern half. Open all year from 5am to midnight.
