Museo Condominiale di Tor Marancia

The estate dates from 1947. The project was conceived in 2013 by Stefano Antonelli with Gianluca Marziani consulting, and carried out in 2014 and 2015 by the association 999Contemporary under the name Big City Life: 70 working days, 765 litres of paint and 974 spray cans. It was funded 55 per cent by 999Contemporary, 25 per cent by the Fondazione Roma and 20 per cent by Roma Capitale through the Roma Creativa public call, under a protocol with ATER and sponsored by Municipio Roma VIII, with ATAC, Sikkens and Pescerosso. It opened officially on 9 March 2015, and in 2016 represented Italy in the Italian Pavilion at the 15th Venice Architecture Biennale, Taking Care - Progettare per il bene comune. ICOM recognises it as museum institution no. M124582; it is run by the Museo Condominiale di Tor Marancia association, chaired by Antonelli and directed by Marziani.
