Bay Parkway Station (Dual System BRT)

A working D-train station on the BMT West End Line, listed on the National Register of Historic Places on July 6, 2005 under reference number 05000670 as part of the New York City Subway System submission. Its locale is recorded as Bensonhurst, Bath Beach and Gravesend.
History
The elevated station opened on July 29, 1916. The line beneath it began as a surface excursion railway to Coney Island, the Brooklyn, Bath and Coney Island Railroad, established in 1862.
