Founded in 1914 by Mabel Osgood Wright, Birdcraft is one of the first private songbird sanctuaries in the United States and a National Historic Landmark; more than 150 bird species have been recorded on its 5 acres. Museum hours Thursday, Saturday & Sunday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.; trails dawn to dusk, free.
