Ninth on Golf Digest's 2025-'26 ranking of the best golf courses in Maryland and the highest-ranked entry on that list labelled "Public" — the eight above it are all labelled "Private." Golf Digest's course page reads "Facility Type Public" and "Ranked ninth, 2023-'26." Pete Dye designed it over 275 acres of the former Blenheim Farm and it opened in 1998 as America's Best New Upscale Public Course of that year; it hosted the LPGA Championship from 2005 through 2009. Par 72, 7,375 yards from the Black tees. The operator's about page reads "Open to the public daily," and its foreUP tee sheet carries a "Daily Fee Player | 14 Days" class the general public books on.
