Bush Theatre

The theatre was established in 1972 in a room above a pub on the corner of Shepherd's Bush Green. It states that it moved to the old library on Uxbridge Road in 2011, and the building reopened in 2017 after a redevelopment project. No entry on the National Heritage List names the theatre or its building, though four listed entries fall within 250 metres of it: ODEON CINEMA, Grade II, NHLE 1286354, at 148 metres; the Hammersmith School of Building and Arts and Crafts, Grade II, NHLE 1358595, at 203 metres; the Church of St Stephen the Martyr and St Thomas, Grade II, NHLE 1261971, at 214 metres; and Shepherds Bush Empire, Grade II, NHLE 1358593, at 216 metres.
