Cadman Plaza Park

A park along the border of Brooklyn Heights and Downtown Brooklyn, holding the Brooklyn War Memorial and the William Jay Gaynor Memorial. It is named for the Rev. Dr. S. Parkes Cadman.
History
The land was reclaimed by condemnation in 1935 and designated a park in 1939.
