Canons Park

The registration at Grade II is list entry 1001394. The Garden Temple, with its supporting walls and raised paved area, was listed Grade II on 25 May 1983 as NHLE 1079739. Two further garden structures are listed Grade II: the wall enclosing the George V Memorial Garden, NHLE 1079738, and the wall enclosing the garden to its north-west, NHLE 1192924. The main building of North London Collegiate School, formerly Canons House, stands in the park and is listed Grade II, NHLE 1286403, with its screen walls, terraces, balustrades, garden steps and rotunda separately Grade II, NHLE 1079737. St Lawrence's Church, the parish church of Little Stanmore, and the Chandos Mausoleum stand at the park's edge. Canons Park station, on the Jubilee line, is 590 m from the Garden Temple, and Stanmore 952 m.
