Chaplin Historic District

A 40-acre district running about 0.8 miles along Chaplin Street, centered on the 1812-1815 Congregational Church, with the former town hall (1840), the Ross Memorial Library (1911) and Eaton's Store (1850) among the landmarks. Listed on the National Register in 1978; a public streetscape viewable from Chaplin Street at any time.
