Chiesa di Santa Maria Immacolata all'Esquilino

A neo-Gothic church on via Emanuele Filiberto, its gabled façade twenty-one metres wide, with two flanking towers, and a little over twenty-two metres high at the tip of the cross.

History

It was built for the Frati della Carità, the Padri Bigi, from 1901 to 1914, to the design of Antonio Curri, with the engineer Luigi Cortesi directing. The first mass was said on 8 December 1914, and Cardinal Luigi Traglia consecrated the church on 21 April 1942.
