History
The church was first listed on 29 November 1976. Two churchyard monuments are separately Grade II listed and both were first listed on 15 February 1983: the monument to the parents of John Ruskin in the south-east corner, NHLE 1358824, and the monument to members of the Preston family in the north-west corner, NHLE 1079304. Shirley Vicarage beside the church is Grade II listed, NHLE 1189029, first listed 9 October 1981. Coombe Lane tram stop is 1,447 m away.
