A market and events space in the Campo Boario of the former Mattatoio, occupying 3,500 square metres recovered from the old Pese del Bestiame, the livestock weighbridge, and from the canopies and shelters of the Campo Boario. It holds organic-agriculture and fair-trade markets, training workshops, concerts and festivals, and contains a bio-bar and a bio-restaurant. Its hours are Tuesday to Sunday, 07.30 to 24.00. There are bike racks and a large car park; Metro B Piramide and bus 719.
History
The buildings were restored conservatively on bioarchitecture principles, within the wider recovery of the Mattatoio, and the space opened in 2007. The operator states that it holds more than a hundred events a year.
