Danson Park is a Grade II registered park and garden of 80.68 hectares, NHLE 1000211, entered from Danson Road, Welling, DA16 1RU. The council states that Danson Park is open 24 hours, 365 days of the year, and entry is free. It contains a large boating lake and is the setting for Danson House.
History
The park was registered at Grade II on 1 October 1987 as list entry 1000211, and Historic England records the registered area as 80.68 hectares. The Bexley Charter Oak stands in the park near the house. Danson Park Adventures, an activity centre for ages eight and over, operates in the park and is named by the council as a visitor attraction in its own right. Danson House inside the park is listed Grade I, NHLE 1064225, and the stable block Grade II*, NHLE 1359409.
